Questions to Consider Before Becoming a Grant Writing Consultant [Episode 040]

Should you make the move to be a grant writing consultant?

Join me today as I talk through seven questions to consider before becoming a grant writing consultant. This may seem like a big step, but there are a few things you should sort out before you make the jump.

Being a grant writing consultant is rewarding. I’ve enjoyed the freedom and flexibility, but it’s not without its share of challenges.

A few questions to think through:

  1. How fast do you need income?
  2. Do you need a consistent income right away?
  3. What is your network like? Consider what connections and opportunities you have.
  4. Look at your background and experience – what do you have to build upon?
  5. Can you do some consulting on the side in addition to your day job?
  6. How much time and flexibility do you have?
  7. What is realistic for you?
These questions aren’t indended to scare you at all. In fact, I hope they spark some ideas and planning for your future career. If it does, but you aren’t quite sure how to connect the dots, then the Fast Track to Grant Writer is probably a perfect fit for you. Check it out and sign up today.
