NONPROFIT GRANT STRATEGY

Grant Readiness Roadmap

Your mission matters. Let’s give your team the strategy, materials, and direction to help funders see why.

We’ll build a grant strategy your team can put to work.

Over 90 days, we work with you to clarify your funding priorities, develop your Case for Support, identify aligned foundations, and build a practical system for moving forward.

THE STARTING POINT

“We just need to get grants.”
Hang on - first, we need to build what that takes.

You know the work you do matters. You see the needs, hear the stories, and watch your programs make a difference.

But turning that work into a clear funding strategy takes time and expertise.

Too often…

  • Information lives in different files.
  • Important details live in someone’s head.
  • Figuring out which foundations to approach becomes a job of its own.

You bring the knowledge of your nonprofit. We bring the strategy and hands to help you build the support.

WHAT WE DO

Let's map your journey.

Investing in nonprofit strategy isn’t a risk. It’s a game-changer.

Our grant strategy work has helped nonprofits secure millions in funding. In the Grant Readiness Roadmap, we bring that experience upstream. We help your team build the strategy, materials, research, and process behind stronger grant efforts. And the best part is, we build it with you, so your team can keep using it after the 90 days are over.

You can be new to grants or ready to strengthen your current approach. We start where you are today and go from there.

Kind Words from a Client

“Teresa brings a great mix of strategy and practical execution to fundraising. She has great insight for building the systems and skills our partners need to grow. I am especially impressed how much she is helping them to clarify their story, align their programs with funding priorities, and become grant/donation-ready.”

Enock D.Executive Director, ThinSpace Africa

After 90 days, you'll have:

Five BIG TAKEAWAYS FOR YOU

  • Clear funding priorities. Know what you’re seeking support for and how it connects to your mission, capacity, and goals.
  • A stronger case for your work. Explain your programs, impact, and funding needs with consistent language your whole team can use.
  • Relevant foundations to approach. Begin with aligned prospects and recommended next steps.
  • A practical grant process. Keep opportunities, deadlines, responsibilities, and follow-up organized.
  • Better judgment about where to invest your effort. Understand what makes an opportunity worth pursuing and when to pass.

Your nonprofit can use these resources over and over across future grants, donor conversations, and fundraising communications.

How it works.

90 days · five steps

Day 1Day 90

01

Understand where you stand.

We review your current materials, financials, processes, and grant history so we understand what we’re building from and what needs attention first.

02

Focus your strategy.

Six private 60-minute sessions to clarify your messaging and define 3 to 4 funding priorities. You’ll have experienced guidance as decisions arise.

Six sessions

03

Build your Case for Support.

One working document that brings together your story, programs, impact, data, and funding priorities. Adapt core language instead of rebuilding it.

10 to 15 pages

04

Identify aligned foundations.

We curate prospects based on your priorities, geography, funding fit, and timing, with clear next steps for you.

8 to 10 prospects

05

Put a system behind the strategy.

A grant tracking system, plus responsibilities, timelines, and next steps your team can own.

Give your team the materials and strategic direction they need.

IS THIS YOU?

For organizations ready to do the groundwork.

The Roadmap is a good fit if your nonprofit:

  • Has active programs and wants a more intentional approach to grants.
  • Needs help translating your work into clear funding priorities and compelling materials.
  • Wants experienced support with grant strategy, Case for Support development, and foundation research.
  • Can designate a primary contact, provide the background info we need, and participate in the process.
  • Is ready to invest in capabilities your team can use far beyond the next grant application.

YOUR INVESTMENT

A strategy your team can use over and over.

Your team leaves with a practical grant funding strategy you can start using today, not a stack of reports to decode.

No more guessing which foundations to approach. No more starting each grant application from scratch.

What teams ask before they book the Roadmap.

Still have a question? Start a Conversation

No, this is important upstream work that builds the foundation for your team’s future grant writing. We develop the strategy, core materials, research, and process that support your future applications.

Our team leads the assessment, develops your Case for Support, and conducts the foundation research. We work with you on strategy and grant tracking. Your team provides organizational information, participates in sessions, reviews drafts, and carries out the agreed next steps.

Designate one primary contact who can coordinate information and keep the work moving. Include other team members in relevant conversations so the strategy reflects the people who will use it.

You don’t need a grant history to benefit. You do need active work to build from and a team prepared to participate. We’ll help you understand what to put in place and where to focus.

No, funders make their own decisions. The Roadmap strengthens the parts your organization can control: preparation, messaging, priorities, funder selection, and follow-through.

We review your application within two business days and reply by email. If the Roadmap fits, you receive the agreement and payment options, and we schedule your start. If it’s not a fit just yet, we tell you what would help first.
